Everything is beautiful. Their drink selection is phenomenal. I love that you can order pizza at the bar (honestly some of the best pizza I have had).
It does get crouded very quickly, so I recommend getting there early if you are attending in the evenings.
New Park Brewing has a beautiful outdoor area and very folksy indoor area. There's a nice selection of beers on tap. The only downside is the lack of flights. Usually a flight helps to get a better picture of the brewery's selection. I can only judge based on the English Porter, Chap. I guess this just means I have to go back soon to try more beers!
We hosted a bridal shower in the Barrel Room at New Park Brewing this past Sunday and had a wonderful experience from out first site visit right through to clean up. TJ, Christine and Karina were all fantastic to work with at every step, including accommodating last minute special requests with cheerful ease. We had about 30 people and the space was perfect for that size group with room to spare. All of the pizzas, salad, beer, wine and mimosas were delicious and plentiful. I would definitely recommend hosting an event here!
1.13.23 Such a great place for date nights, singles, couples, families, friends. Serve beer, wine, cider and also pizza, salads, brussel sprouts, etc. Great vibe. Great beer. Fun venue.
One of my favorite breweries to visit in CT. With that said, last 3 times I went. We couldn't find a place to sit or stand to enjoy a beer or pizza. The room in thr back never seems to be open for more space. We are still in winter and sitting outside isn't always an option. The service is a bit less welcoming than in previous years. Which is unfortunate, but they are probably under staffed. It shows in their employees attitude at times they seem frustrated.
Still, they have some of the best beer in the area indeed. So, just stop by and see if you get lucky to sit down. Otherwise grab and go, you won't regret it. Hope the service improves once they are fully staffed.
Good beer, cool people. Opened at 5, and got busy quickly. I had a... cloudcover IPA that was pretty good and hazy with a lot of hop. Connecticut beer scene seems pretty heavily regulated, but trying to grow from the Crack in the sidewalk like the determined little flower. Good luck guys and good beer.
Picked up my online order. Fantastic beer. My buddy from Iceland wanted some beer so I grabbed some cases.
Had to a fun night here with some good friends. Plenty of great outdoor patio seating and taproom options as well. Great wood fired pizza and great brews! Was particularly happy with their selection of hazy ipas and the staff were superb. Would highly recommend this place if your in the area. Cheers!!
